Recovering you roof
- If your roof has only one
layer and lays flat, and no problems with the decking underneath,
removal is not necessary.

You must and I say again must put the proper
ventilation on the roof when doing a recover.

If your roof has 2 layers or more it must be torn
off by law in Georgia.

If your roof has bad decking you would want it torn
off,

If your roof has bad shingles, broken in pieces or
sticking up everywhere you would want the roof tore off.
- If you have a mobile home
you would want the roof tore off due to pitch and weight.
